Germany is Europe's largest producer country of electric bicycles currently. As EU countries pay more attention to electric bicycles and the rising oil prices, the concept of healthy living and strengthening of environmental protection, the future new EU emissions standards are provide impetus to the development of electric bicycle. EU hopes that after the unification two-wheel drive vehicles and engines (PTW) emissions and safety standards in 2020, which will be largely stimulate the the development of electric bicycles and electric of motorcycles, electric bicycles will be the future of the industry. The sales amount of electric bicycle account 4% in Germany, more for the elderly users, but it is attracting more and more office workers in suits and ties and cycling travelers. Other countries in Europe, such as the Netherlands, the electric bicycle has reached 37% of total sales, the development in Germany is enormous.
